You were a People’s President

And  our ‘Missile Man’

The missiles you help build

Agni and Prithvi are few to name

The more important are those

That you lit.

The fires of quest in the minds

Of young ones across the country.

When we read your words

When we hear stories of your life

You will remain a guiding light

In the heart’s and the life’s of many.
