Why I read?

I love to see and feel the world

Through other sets of eyes and many hearts

To add to the riches of vision and feelings

There are many things that seem to

Be the same as what I am

Giving the deja vu goosebumps

Seeing the self in many mirrors

Distances and differences seem so minor.

The tales take me far and wide

Into the future and past

The real and the imaginary

Soar the high mountains

Immerse into deep sea

Making me a little intelligent

The many laughs and buckets of tears too.

I thank every author of every book

Ever written and read

For taking me on your journey.
