Is my silence welling
From a sea of contentment
A calm silence that can stand on its own
And can coexist with others
Does not need a companion to share with
But shares wholeheartedly, if there is one.
A silence that gives peace to everyone
Who comes into its penumbra.
A silence that comes from the depths
Of the calming seas in the mind and heart
Gentle waves, lulling breeze
With the tides and turns, in tune
With the rhythms of nature.
This silence does not comes from inaction
It comes from being in flow
With the forces of life
With the cycles of life and death
However turbulent they are.
